Since our founding in 2011, we have been thinking about a world defined by Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Industrial Robots, Large-Scale Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality and Machine Vision Technologies to accelerate design-to-manufacturing workflows. What we do at ID4A is ask, "How can we reinvent production processes given that reality?"
The company focuses its creative energies on solving problems located at the intersection where industry and design meet with technology on the base of developing and producing novel technologies. We believe that a deep understanding of the creative consumer needs and design-to-manufacturing workflows is essential to developing tools and applications that designers and businesses can embrace and value. In that sense, we are “design workflows-focused” inventors in a world filled with new technologies.
ID4A was founded as a privately held company in 2011 with the aim to initiate R&D developments to produce innovative manufacturing technologies that can support the iterative prototyping cycle. The company has been focused on creating solutions for a wide variety of manufacturing processes, which is the drive behind our developments. At the end of 2013, we based ID4A Headquarters and Research Laboratories in Silicon Valley. Today, ID4A is a globally operating business with an expanding team in 10 major cities and clients in over 22 countries around the world.
